HEADSET JOCKEYS

From rexcase, the anonymous troll in the Dead Patrol review comments.
Interesting take on clothing stores a la The Office. Not funny. At all.
In fact, that's pretty much all I have to say about it. Not funny.

I think it's hysterical! You must be in a state of depression to think this isn't funny.

Sorry, charlyn20, but my mental health is better than fine.
As is my comedic taste. It's an extremely well-made flick for a YouTube video, but it's just not funny in the slightest.
There's talent here. Just not in writing comedy.

Well, we're disappointed that you didn't enjoy it, but such is life. You can't please all the people all of the time.

Regardless, we invite you back to check out Episode 4, which will be posted on Friday, Dec. 14. Episode 4 is a little less subtle in its comic sensibilities. In the meantime, since you've obviously checked out Episode 1, feel free to check out and comment on Episodes 2 and 3. We'd love to hear your opinion, good or bad.

And to add just a slight bit of clarification, Headset Jockeys was an experiment in improvisational comedy. As such, nothing was written (we worked from a basic outline).

If you have any other comments/questions, bring them up. We're big fans of artistic communication.

Not. Funny.
Really. You folks have skills. But you're not funny.
The only comedic material you present is lame attempts at making fun of homosexuals. Boy, howdy, is that cutting-edge humor.
There's nothing "subtle" about your comedy. It's not funny.
That's OK, though. The rest of the package is there. You guys have a future. Just not in comedy writing.
I'm going to watch episode 4. And I'll post a review of DEAD PATROL episode 2 sometime soon (I want to watch it a couple more times to be sure of myself).
Whether you like my opinion of your work or not, I'm only telling the truth.

Opinions are great. And we're fine with you sharing yours.

If you've done anything, we'd like to check it out. Since you're watching and supporting our material (even bad opinions are supportive; I think some people don't understand that), it's only fair that we support you and watch yours.

As far as Dead Patrol is concerned, I haven't even seen the second episode.

Oh, and if you can point me in the direction of our future, that would be helpful. I'm trying to get there as soon as I can.

Just keep plugging away. You know better than anyone else where you're going.
Art is evolution, after all.

Episode 2 was a definite step in the right direction. I'd be lying if I didn't say I didn't chuckle at the stupidity of the shoplifting criteria (I've worked retail in worse conditions).
Episode 3...well, the regulars stepped up. Maria didn't quite hit the stride of her character, but that's fine. The cast already in place reacted to her presence well-enough.

Sure, you're making a retail cousin of the BBC series The Office. But, they wrote everything. You're doing it on the fly.
Writing comedy is tough. Improv? Well, that's nigh impossible.
To even succeed part of the time, you've gotta be scary talented. So, I have to give it up for all concerned just for the attempt (and for the successes).
